About

Being an avid shopper at Gymboree I was devastated to hear they were closing. At the same time, I received an email inviting me to be a Founding Retailer for Pete and Lucy. I jumped in with two feet! After ordering my opening bundle, contacting our attorney and posting on Facebook. I thought I should probably tell my husband, “I did a thing.” In May of 2019, Serendipity’s Closet, LLC was born. We started out exclusively carrying the up and coming Pete and Lucy brand and quickly expanded into unbranded items as well.

In the last few months, we have added HoneyBEES, TwoCan, and Wellie Kate to our lineup of high-quality affordable children’s clothing.

A little about me; I am Jacki Landis, founder and sole owner of Serendipity’s Closet, LLC. I grew up near Hershey, Pennsylvania. You know, the Sweetest Place on Earth?

Ten years ago, I met my husband, Tim at my full-time job. I sell farm inputs, he’s a farmer. We decided to start a life together. In August of 2011, I moved to Herndon with my then 12-year-old son, Isaac. Tim and I married in August of 2013 and started to grow our family. Miss A was born in June of 2014 and Mr. T came along in July of 2016. I do have one other son, Eli who is 24 and married.

I still work full-time; Tim farms and raises roughly 15,000 pigs a year. Yes, we always have bacon in the freezer! The boutique is something I love to do, and Miss A is starting to take an interest in helping. I believe we have an entrepreneur on our hands!

Thank you for supporting us in our journey!

Warm Regards,

Jacki
